Microsoft Windows是微软发布的非常流行的操作系统。
Windows的图形渲染引擎在渲染增强型元文件（EMF）图形格式文件时存在未检查的缓冲区，任何在受影响系统上渲染EMF图形的程序都受这种攻击的影响。能够本地登录到有漏洞系统的攻击者可以通过执行某些程序来完全控制受影响的系统。
